Final chapter of the first three-games week on the tough court of Barça

Valencia Basket men’s team concludes a very tough week, both emotionally and sportively, on the court of Barça (Sunday, 17th, 18:30h, Fonteta, #Vamos/Movistar+ Deportes) with the game of Round 8 in the Liga Endesa.

 

The "Taronja" team faces this match after the emotional burden of playing their first two home games since the tragedy that struck the province on October 29. They have used the platform of sports to honor the victims and those affected, as well as to highlight the fact that much work remains to be done while continuing to take steps to recover.

 

They will also face the challenge of visiting the court of a team that was leading the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague until yesterday, less than 44 hours after the end of their rescheduled game against Casademont Zaragoza.

 

Pedro Martínez's men will put their current form and their eleven-game winning streak to the test against a rival with the most effective offense in the Liga Endesa.

 

To do so, they have brought all twelve available professional players to Barcelona, as the same injury absences from previous games remain, with Filipovic (back) and Happ (right foot and adductor) ruled out for this match.

 

Valencia Basket enters this eighth round in second place, with a 5-1 record and a pending game against La Laguna Tenerife at the Fonteta.
